Brittany Wideman is the Director of Stewardship and Engagement at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she oversees her team’s work building and maintaining strong relationships with UCS supporters, assists in long-term strategic planning, and leads UCS event coordination.
Prior to joining UCS, Ms. Wideman served as Director of Alumni & Constituent Engagement at Carnegie Mellon University, where she managed the board and oversaw the large award-granting events. She spent time as the donor and prospect engagement strategist for CMU’s colleges, as well as a fundraiser for its central team. Before that, she was the Director of Development at Bowling Green State University. She earned a BS in kinesiology from West Chester University and her MBA from the University of Texas Permian Basin.
