Donna-Christine McGuire is a neuroscience researcher, specializing in the study of dopamine, neuroplasticity, and epigenetics and their influences on cognition and behavior in science, politics, business, education, health and civil society. She is particularly interested in preparing young scientists to be effective science advocates, and in educating the public to understand and support science-based policies. She is the author of The Brain You Need for the Life You Want: Why We’re Addicted to Overeating, Stress, and Violence.
