Matt Frankel is a board-certified emergency room physician who has dedicated the last 20 years of his career to the same hospital. He has a non-profit foundation dedicated to breeding endangered tortoises and turtles from around the world. He is also on several national boards of directors and scientific review boards all focusing on environmental issues and endangered species. He spends as much time as he can hiking around his home, which rests on an old mining claim in the Prescott National Forest in Prescott, AZ.
