Wes Foell has taught energy analysis and environmental studies (Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison), researched and consulted internationally, including the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Vienna, USAID, the World Bank, OECD, U.S. Dept. of Energy, and several foreign governments in Asia, Eastern Europe, and the former Soviet Union. Current professional interests are U.S./Wisconsin energy/climate analysis and policy; smart electrification and energy sustainability; and global security issues, including non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. Personal passions include ecological restoration, music, and 17th century Dutch culture.
