As Western states campaign coordinator for the Climate & Energy and Clean Vehicles programs at the Union of Concerned Scientists, Emily implements outreach and strategic campaign plans to advance legislative and regulatory climate, energy, fuel, and electric vehicle initiatives at state and regional levels. She also builds relationships with coalition partners, academic experts, and members of the press to bolster UCS’s work. Prior to joining UCS, Emily was a national coordinator with Greenpeace, where she managed the engagement and mobilization of offline activists, and served as Virginia campaign coordinator with the Chesapeake Climate Action Network. She also spent a year as a field organizer at Green Corps. Emily earned a B.A. in political science from Michigan State University.
