Lesley Fleischman

Energy Analyst

Lesley Fleischman is an energy analyst in the Climate and Energy Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS). She conducts research and analysis to support the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency resources.

Prior to joining UCS, Ms. Fleischman worked as a research assistant in the Environmental and Natural Resource Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University. She also interned at the U.S. Department of Energy, where she assessed risks associated with projects funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Previously, Ms. Fleischman worked as a senior research analyst in the socially responsible investment research division at MSCI, Inc. At MSCI, Ms. Fleischman conducted research and authored reports on the environmental, social, and corporate governance performance of large companies in the energy and basic materials sectors.

Lesley holds a B.A. in history and economics from Haverford College, and a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
