Miriam Swaffer
Campaign Organizer, Tropical Forests
Miriam works with UCS members, supporters, activists, and experts, as well as business leaders, policy makers, and NGO partners to improve corporate and public policies related to tropical forests and palm oil. She designs and implements innovative outreach tactics that grow the demand for deforestation-free supply chains. Prior to joining UCS, Miriam facilitated implementation of evidence-based, multi-stakeholder solutions to complex human rights and environmental problems in international corporate supply chains. She holds a degree in International Development and Social Change.
