Sarah works with the media to promote the work of the Food and Environment program and the Tropical Forest and Climate Initiative efforts of the Climate and Energy program. During the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in March 211, Sarah managed all of the television and radio interviews for UCS nuclear power experts, coordinating interviews with hundreds of reporters. Prior to joining UCS, Sarah worked at a for-profit environmental public relations firm, where her clients included the town of Harriman, Tennessee, which was devastated by a toxic coal ash spill in December 28.
