Living Legacy Society
Peggy and John Garvey, Living Legacy Society members. Click here to read about why they chose to support UCS in their estate plans.
Since the founding of the organization in 1969, UCS has not been afraid to take on long-term issues such as global warming and nuclear proliferation that require determination and staying power. Bequests, life income gifts, and other charitable estate planning arrangements ensure that we will continue to make a difference on these and other issues and fulfill our long-term goal: harnessing the power of science to help safeguard our future. To honor caring donors who are providing for UCS through a planned giving arrangement, we founded the Living Legacy Society in 2001. If you choose to support UCS through a planned gift, we would be pleased to recognize you with Society membership.
Some of the benefits of the Living Legacy Society include:
- Special invitations to participate in informative teleconferences and regional briefings with senior UCS staff members, scientists, and board members.
- Complimentary admission to lectures by UCS experts and prominent scientists, in addition to other events in cities near you.
- Early notification of upcoming report releases and offers of complimentary copies of all new reports.
- Semi-annual member newsletter.
If you have already made a provision for UCS in your will, please let us know so we can recognize your generosity. For more information on the Living Legacy Society, contact Adam Kessler at akessler@ucsusa.org or 800-666-8276.
