Ortal Ullman is the campaign coordinator for the Climate & Energy program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In their role, they work with science experts and activists to build and demonstrate support for clean energy and climate accountability campaigns. Prior to joining UCS, Ortal was a community organizing team leader for Partners In Health (PIH), where they recruited and coached volunteer teams across the country to fundraise and advocate global health policies.
Ortal earned a B.S. in health promotion and disease prevention from the University of Southern California. They are currently a JOIN for Justice Organizing Fellow, a fellowship focused on training Jewish organizers to fight against structural injustice and inequality.
