UCS Senate Testimony on NRC Oversight

UCS's Nuclear Safety Project Director, David Lochbaum, testified on June 22, 2006 before the Senate Subcommittee on Clean Air, Climate Change and Nuclear Safety on the regulatory processes for existing and potential nuclear power plants. His recommendations included expanding the scope of the NRC's generic communications program to include safety culture issues and enforcement of the NRC's quality assurance regulations.
