The future is starting now for electric vehicles.
Ford’s Model T revolutionized the automobile industry 100 years ago, and now UCS engineers have created a whole new line of vehicle designs — The Model E — that offer an inside look at how advanced electrified vehicle technologies fit into our transportation future.
These electric-drive vehicles — battery, fuel cell, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid electric cars — could dramatically cut smog-forming pollution, reduce U.S. global warming pollution 80 percent or more, and effectively end our oil addiction by 2050.
The goal of our Model E designs is to demonstrate the viability of varying electric vehicle technologies, giving an honest assessment of their potential, pitfalls, and real-world performance.
