Grass-Fed Stories

The UCS report Greener Pastures: How grass-fed beef and milk contribute to healthy eating confirms that grass-fed beef is often leaner than most supermarket beef and that beef and milk from animals raised entirely on pasture have higher levels than conventionally raised beef and dairy cattle of beneficial fats that may prevent heart disease and strengthen the immune system.

This is great news for consumers who have already chosen to buy grass-fed beef and dairy. And it is fantastic news for farmers who go the extra mile to protect the environment and public health from the harmful impacts associated with grain-fed cows and factory-farm style feedlots.

Are you a consumer who buys grass-fed meat? Are you a farmer who raises beef or dairy cows on pasture?

We want to hear from you!

Please send us your story. Why do you buy grass-fed meat? Why do you raise your animals on grass? UCS will use your stories to help convince others that the grass is truly greener with grass-fed cows.
