We're thrilled you're interested in entering Science Idol: the Scientific Integrity Editorial Cartoon Contest. Use this form for your entry or entries. You are allowed to submit up to five entries. Please follow the technical requirements listed below.
Before you submit, please know that we won't consider any entries that are off topic. If you're not sure, please go back and review the Contest Guidelines and the full Contest Rules.
| Eligibility Rules |
| 1. |
You must live in the United States. |
| 2. |
You cannot be an employee or family/household member of an employee of the Union of Concerned Scientists or the judges. |
| 3. |
The work you submit must be wholly original, but may have been previously published, as long as you own the sole rights to the cartoon. |
| 4. |
If you are under the age of 18, a parent/legal guardian must submit the cartoon on your behalf. |
| 5. |
You must agree to the official Contest Rules to submit an entry. |
Technical Requirements |
| 1. |
Entries should not exceed 500 KB in size and should be at a 72dpi resolution. |
| 2. |
Should your entry be selected as a finalist, you will be required to submit a version of your cartoon that has a resolution of at least 300 dpi. |

Please use your name in the filename of each submission e.g. firstname_lastname_toon1.jpg |

Submitting your entry by mail

Electronic entries are strongly preferred. However, you may also send entries via the United States Postal Service or private carrier to Science Idol, c/o Union of Concerned Scientists, 1825 K Street NW, Suite 800, Washington, D.C. 20006. All non-Internet entries must include a signed copy of the Contest Rules. |
All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on June 11, 2008.
