Best Practices

Think Globally, Act Locally is more than a slogan for many communities in Florida that are actively searching for ways to reduce both their energy consumption and emissions of heat-trapping gases. Some of these "best practices" are described in a new report that explores examples of how cities and counties in Florida are taking actions that are saving energy, the environment, and money.

The report was prepared by Joyce Chumbley, Ph.D., Climate Campaigner for the Florida Climate Alliance, and was funded by the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Union of Concerned Scientists.
