Invasive Species Update - Winter 2009

UCS recently released a new report: Invasive Species in Ohio: Pathways, Policies and Costs. This comprehensive report accompanies our previous reports on the effects of damaging non-native species on several states' economies, environments, and public health. This report explains which invasive species cause the most damage in Ohio and recommends that federal policy makers, in particular, act quickly to prevent new invasive plants, animals, and diseases from entering the United States.
