UCS in the NewsElliott Negin posted a blog on the Huffington Post titled “It’s Climate Change, Stupid.” His piece points out that the biggest long-term threat to the U.S. economy is not government over-regulation, high taxes, or even the deficit. It's climate change. Edwin Lyman contributed an insightful book review of “Keeper of Nuclear Conscience” by Andrew Brown on New Scientist. Elliott Negin recently posted a blog on the Huffington Post titled “Monsanto's Great Expectations (and Not-So-Great Results).” Given the failure of Monsanto's products to perform as advertised and the damage they cause to the environment, how is the company "improving agriculture and improving lives"? Answer: It's not. Sports columnist Dennis Anderson wrote in The StarTribune lists the “Eight Ways Monsanto Fails at Sustainable Agriculture”.
