Space Debris Presentation at Goddard School in Worcester (June 2010)
Robert Goddard was one of the important pioneers of the space age. He lived and worked in Worcester, MA, and the Goddard School of Science and Technology, an elementary school in Worcester, was named in his honor.
In 2010, the school held the first annual Goddard Lecture, intended to help teach the students and the community about key issues related to space. Click here to see a video of the Goddard lecture and an interview with Dr. David Wright.
David Wright, Senior Scientist and Co-Director of UCS's Global Security Program, gave the first Goddard lecture on June 2, 2010.
