Abby Figueroa is the bilingual blog editor at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she coaches and edits UCS's expert staff bloggers and creates blogging strategies and content plans for campaign teams. She also provides editing support to the Got Science? podcast team. Previously, she was UCS's West Coast Communications Officer.
Abby graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Latin American Studies. Prior to joining UCS she worked in a number of journalism, public information and communications roles for public and private utilities and nonprofit organizations.
