Dr. Kirschenmann is a distinguished Fellow at the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture at Iowa State University and president of Kirschenmann Family Farms, a 1,900-acre certified organic farm in North Dakota. He is a leader of the organic/sustainable agriculture movement, and has served on many boards and advisory committees of such organizations. He also currently serves as President of the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture at Pocantico Hills, NY.
