Alicia Race

Climate Resilience Policy Advocate

Alicia Race is the Climate Resilience Policy Advocate for the Climate & Energy program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she works with scientists, partners, and community leaders to advance just and equitable solutions at the state and local level.

Prior to joining UCS, Alicia mobilized support for community choice energy with the San Diego Climate Action Campaign. Prior to that, she worked for FWD.us, an organization focused on immigration reform, as their Midwest director and Florida coalition coordinator. Alicia earned an MA in political science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a BA in political science and Spanish from Northern Kentucky University. She has been published in The Hill.
