Humphreys Munai is chief finance and administrative officer for the Union of Concerned Scientists. In this role, he is responsible for the organization’s financial management and planning, and oversees the finance and administration teams.
Prior to joining UCS, Mr. Munai served as chief finance & operating officer at IslandWood, an environmental education nonprofit based in the Pacific Northwest. Before that, Mr. Munai was the chief operating officer at 350.Org, an international organization focused on climate change. He has also worked as director of global finance operations (Africa) for Heifer International, and as the international finance and operations coordinator at World Neighbors.
Mr. Munai formerly served on the boards of Initiative: Eau and The Maisha Project. He earned a BS in business administration from Mid-America Christian University, and an MBA from Oklahoma Christian University.
