Jessica Thomas is a campaign manager for the Center for Science and Democracy at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she helps implement campaigns for advocates, partners, and scientists to protect and promote the role of science in the policymaking process. She also works closely with the UCS Science Network, which offers scientists and technical experts training, resources, and engagement opportunities to bolster the role of science in public policy. Before joining UCS, Jessica was a program coordinator at the University of Massachusetts Boston, helping students from underrepresented populations prepare for research careers and leadership positions in the biomedical sciences. She earned a BS in biology and environmental science from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
