Taryn MacKinney

Taryn MacKinney is an investigative researcher for the Center for Science and Democracy at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she studies the use and misuse of science in policymaking, and leads investigative research with open-records laws. Prior to joining UCS, she was a senior policy analyst at National Journal, where she studied developments in the federal courts and Congress.

Ms. MacKinney earned a BA in anthropology (biological) and English (creative writing) from the University of Pennsylvania.
